The Northeast Florida Aero Club (NEFLAC) was formed by local pilots in December 2019. The first aircraft was purchased in December 2019; A 1967 PA-28-180, Piper Cherokee 'C', 180HP, TAA, N4886L. In January 2022, the club added its second club-owned aircraft; a 1965 C-172F Skyhawk, 180HP, TAA, N124PJ. In April 2024, a third aircraft was added; a 1973 C-150L, N11285. Then, eight months later, in December 2024, the club added it's fourth aircraft; a 1975 C-172P Skylane G500, N6936M, to accommodate club members interests to go faster and farther on long cross country flights.
The club currently operates four (4) fully IFR certified aircraft with three (3) being Technologically Advanced Aircraft (TAA).
